I love this quote. I love this movie.
This scene impressed me so much when I first saw it. It still fills me with… idk something. I love it.
Still one of my favorite lines from a movie ever.
Men In Black is one of those lovely movies that somehow manages to be campy and serious and funny and terrifying and all around wonderfully made.
What I adore so much about this quote.. isn’t that K is trying to inspire. In fact, considering how it all ended… he was trying to warn. This was the Matrix speech 2 years before the Matrix made the blue and red pills iconic.
“What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet or excite you. Books help us understand who we are and how we are to behave. They show us what community and friendship mean; they show us how to live and die.” — Anne Lamott
Get happy about the holidays or cry over finals, those are my options right now
There are two kinds of anime.
The series involves a young man out on a quest with a goal that seems impossible. He is accompanied by a female and male companion. What is their goal you may be asking, simple, to get them all. The protagonist goes through many hardships but thanks to the help of his friends he is able to overcome them. Battling many opponents from large to small, he loses many friends along the way but this doesn’t stop him from going after what he wants more then anything else in the world.
